Plate images are retained indefinitely for the following additional purposes—(i) training and evaluating our recognition algorithm, (ii) historical vehicle analysis, and (iii) marketing content— but only where you have given explicit consent at upload. We review this dataset every 12 months. If you withdraw consent, your image will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised within 7 days. Email addresses and report metadata are retained for up to 12 months for user re‑downloads and audit.
When Vinlytics no longer has a legitimate business need or legal obligation to process your information, we will securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with applicable laws and best practices.
7. SECURITY
